Single day gas supply breaks record! The daily gas transmission volume of the main pipeline network of the National Pipeline Network Group has reached 1.1 billion cubic meters for the first time

Recently, a strong cold wave has affected many parts of China, with temperatures in the central and eastern regions hitting new lows since this winter, leading to a rapid increase in domestic natural gas demand. On January 21st, the daily gas supply of the national main natural gas pipeline network managed by the National Pipeline Network Group reached 1.1 billion cubic meters, setting a new historical record for the peak daily gas supply.

The State Pipe Network Group gives full play to the advantages of centralized regulation of "one network across the country", and plans to ensure supply at the grassroots level, coordinate market and make precise scheduling. Since the self supply warm season, the cumulative gas transmission volume of the 57000 kilometers of natural gas pipelines operated by the National Pipeline Network Group has exceeded 69 billion cubic meters.

The National Pipeline Network Group has advanced the pipeline storage to over 3.6 billion cubic meters, insisting on the high-level operation of its 8 liquefied natural gas receiving stations. In response to market changes caused by the cold wave, it closely connects with shippers and upstream and downstream users, coordinates resource balance, and continues to do a good job in integrated operation of station, pipeline, and storage. It also optimizes the gasification export volume of multiple LNG receiving stations and the gas production of key gas storage tanks.

At present, the daily export volume of 19 LNG receiving stations connected to the pipeline network is nearly 300 million cubic meters, and 17 interconnected gas storage facilities are simultaneously producing gas, with a daily gas production network connected volume of nearly 200 million cubic meters.

In addition, the National Pipeline Network Group effectively ensures the gas demand in key regions such as the northern and central eastern regions, achieving efficient and precise resource allocation across regions.
