China National Offshore Oil Corporation's Meizhou Bay "Green Energy Port" has cumulatively unloaded over 800 LNG ships

On July 30th, the "Al Rahba" ship, loaded with 170000 cubic meters of LNG from Oman, successfully departed from the "Green Energy Port" (Fujian LNG) dedicated terminal in the Meizhou Bay of China's CNOOC after unloading, marking that Fujian LNG has received and unloaded over 800 imported LNG ships since its commissioning.

From the first LNG ship docking in April 2008 to the smooth unloading of the 800th ship today, Fujian LNG has cumulatively unloaded over 49 million tons of imported LNG and exported more than 70 billion cubic meters of natural gas, laying a solid foundation for ensuring energy supply in Fujian Province.

At the critical period of peak summer, ensuring natural gas supply requires not only sufficient quantity but also stable quality. Fujian LNG has established a peak summer supply guarantee team, tailored special plans, strengthened communication and contact with relevant local government departments, opened up a "green channel" for LNG ships, and ensured sufficient supply resources; Actively carry out equipment maintenance testing, organize major inspections of equipment and facilities, regularly organize emergency drills, from pipeline leakage disposal to tank pressure regulation, cultivate strong emergency response capabilities, and weave a "safety protection net" covering the entire chain of LNG receiving, storage, and transportation.

It is reported that Fujian LNG is intensively constructing the country's largest 270000 cubic meter ground full capacity LNG storage tank with a single tank capacity, which will be completed by the end of 2028. After the completion of the storage tank, the reserve capacity of Fujian LNG will increase by about 30%, further enhancing regional peak shaving, emergency reserve, and supply guarantee capabilities, providing clean, efficient, safe, and stable energy support for Fujian Province and surrounding areas.
