POWERCHINA Signed Contracts for Four Natural Gas Booster Stations in Türkiye

At the beginning of the new year of 2026, PowerChina International Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Power Construction Corporation, and Türkiye's Taman Oil and Gas Co., Ltd. signed a contract for Türkiye's Taman Gas Booster Station 2, 4, 5, and 7 (Package II) Project, with a contract amount of about 66 2.6 billion RMB.

There are 4 natural gas booster stations in the project, among which Station 2, Station 4, Station 5 and Station 7 are located in Horasan Province, Sivas Province, Kiresil Province and Ipsala District of Türkiye from east to west. The main content of the project includes the overall design of four booster stations, procurement, installation, and commissioning of major equipment (including compressors, gas turbines, pipelines within the factory area, air compressors, air coolers, black powder filters, etc.),

The natural gas booster station at Station 2 does not include the procurement of gas turbines and compressors. The project contract has a duration of approximately 55 months. At present, Türkiye's oil and gas equipment market is in a critical period of transition from "pure import" to "regional energy hub and partial localization". Benefiting from the development of large gas fields in the Black Sea and the expansion of cross-border pipelines, this market has demonstrated strong resilience and growth potential.
