This spring, we received an invitation from the central enterprise Shougang Jingtang Iron and Steel Company to participate in the production of an intelligent gas pressure regulating and metering device (4000X1800X1950). Although the natural gas flow is not large, the device has a high level of information intelligence. Specifically, the device has 13 AI points for pressure and temperature signals, 3 AI points for flow signals, 2 AO points for electric valve control signals, 6 DI points for valve position opening signals and switch signals of the pressure regulating equipment, and 2 AI points for gas alarm signals, requiring the collection and control of a total of 26 signal points. Such high costs and installation difficulties are rare among similar devices.
These challenges arise from the development needs of the smart gas platform. Following this trend, the goal of "Smart Gas China" holds a market depth and breadth worthy of exploration and striving by gas equipment enterprises!
