Amidst the waves of the East China Sea, a steel dragon carrying the lifeline of urban energy is rapidly taking shape. On April 2nd, the construction site of the underwater gas pipeline project for the expansion of the Shanghai LNG station line once again reported good news: the daily welding volume of the welding unit reached a new high! Reached 58 weld joints! It also refreshed the project construction record once again.
Three major highlights of tackling challenges
1. A total of 4306 welded joints have been completed for submarine pipeline welding
2. Welding length 52.78 kilometers
3. Welding qualification rate 99.32%
On site direct attack
Technological breakthroughs on the waves
The Shanghai LNG subsea pipeline project is currently the longest and heaviest subsea pipeline project undertaken by the company. Faced with the adverse sea conditions during the construction window period, the project department optimized the operation process and combined digital and intelligent project management technology to achieve a leap in construction efficiency while ensuring welding quality. More than 4300 welding joints, each of which is a guarantee of quality.
Countdown to Victory
At present, the project team is sprinting towards the laying of the submarine pipeline from Little Turtle Island to Zhelin Pond with the standard of "zero defects", fully ensuring the accelerated formation of the city's energy lifeline.
